HERITAGE FLUSH SASH WINDOWS AND DOORS
Timberlook Specialists, Caterham and Surrey
If you love the look of traditional timber windows but not the sanding, painting and rot that come with them, Timberlook is the answer. It is the window we are proudest to fit, and the one we recommend most for period homes, cottages and character properties across Caterham, Surrey, South London and Kent.
From the street, Timberlook flush sash windows are very hard to tell from painted timber. The sashes sit flush with the frame, the corners are square mortise and tenon joints rather than the mitred corners you see on ordinary uPVC, and the trickle vents are hidden away in the head of the frame so nothing spoils the lines. Inside, a softly sculpted ovolo profile gives the same refined finish.
Behind the traditional look is a thoroughly modern window. Every opening sash has Yale shoot bolt locking tested to PAS24, the standard U value is 1.4 (as low as 1.2 with upgraded Planitherm glass), and there is no painting to do, ever.
We survey, supply and fit every Timberlook job with our own experienced installers, and as an ASSURE registered company your installation is backed by a 10 year insurance backed guarantee.

The classic Timberlook window. Sashes sit perfectly flush with the frame for the authentic look of a painted timber casement, with square mortise and tenon corners and a slim 58mm sash that mirrors traditional joinery.
Choose 20mm cottage or astragal bars, leaded glass, a 30mm transom weather bar, and the deeper 55mm Radlington cill for an even more authentic finish. Perfect for Victorian, Edwardian and 1930s homes, cottages and new builds that want real character.

Timberlook Bay Windows
A bay window is often the star of a period home, and Timberlook lets you replace a tired or rotten timber bay without losing any of its charm. Three section, square and bow bays are all available, with the same flush sashes, bars and finishes as the rest of the range so everything matches.
We survey and measure every bay ourselves, so the angles, posts and cill are right first time.

TIMBERLOOK QUESTIONS
FAQs
No. Timberlook is a high quality uPVC flush sash system designed to look like traditional painted or woodgrain timber. You get the character of timber with none of the sanding, painting, swelling or rot.
Timberlook has been accepted by planning authorities in a number of conservation areas, but every council decides for itself. Always check with your local planning authority before you go ahead. We are happy to help with the details they ask for, such as cill, bars and vents.
The range includes White, Polar White, Cream, Pebble Grey, Painswick, Chartwell Green, Smooth Grey, Anthracite Grey, Black, and woodgrains such as Irish Oak, Golden Oak and Rosewood. Dual colour, with one colour outside and another inside, is available too. Some finishes have longer lead times, so ask us at your survey.
